Do you think anyone would be interested in topics to do with any of the services? For instance, there's water, electricity and waste disposal to name 3 of the common ones.

We have a borehole; a generator provides power and we have just installed a Tricel6 unit for waste disposal.

We originally dug a hole in the polytunnel with the idea of starting up an aquaponics system, but because of the persistent rain, a lot of mud has formed along the walkways of our tunnel and so we have made channels for the water to drain into the hole from where we can then pump it out into the third chamber of the Tricel unit.

There are a few posts on water already, although you're right - we could probably do with dealing with waste soonish!

If drainage is a problem in your tunnel and you don't have enough slope to carry it away then your approach is a good one. When things dry out a bit you could prepare for future events by putting some 'land drain' hose under the paths, backfilled with gravel, to run into the hole - it depends on your view on weather trends really! Builders and pipe sales outfits often have offcuts available for pennies.
